Twitter Etiquette
Twitter is a real-time information network allowing people to post messages in 140 characters or less. Founded on the concept of answering, "What's Happening?," responses are limitless in both quality and quantity, requiring users to be responsible for quality and appropriateness.

Upload Picture Avatar
-
Uploading a picture of your face is suggested, although avatars can be used. Twitter states in the Settings category that "your Twitter profile picture helps instantly identify you" but all images uploaded must be owned by the individual user.
Fill Out Personal Biography
-
Under the Settings tab on the upper right-hand side of the Twitter page, a personal biography is available to be added in fewer than 160 characters. Twitter's Profile suggestions states that adding a bio "helps instantly identify you to those following you, and tells those who aren't more about you."

Tweet to the Point, Not to the Max
-
There is no limit to how many Tweets are submitted. With the website stating, " Post every hour. Post Never. You are in control on Twitter," the power is in the hands of the poster, although to gain followers, according to HubSpot, "users who tweet between 10 and 50 times per day have more followers on average than those who tweet more or less frequently."
