Phlebotomy is the practice of drawing blood for medical testing. Health vocation schools, vocational schools and community colleges teach this vocation. One such school is Complete Phlebotomy Training Inc., located in Menifee, California.

      Complete Phlebotomy Training Inc. offers an 80- to 84-hour course in phlebotomy that qualifies graduates to sit for the national certification exam. Licensed vocational nurses, certified phlebotomy technicians, emergency medical technicians, radiology technicians and clinical lab scientists can attend one or two days of phlebotomy theory class for continuing education units (CEUs). The California Department of Public Health, Laboratory Field Services, approves all training.
