The Acer Aspire 6930G was an entertainment-oriented laptop that Acer Inc. released in 2008. It was among Aspire's flagship series of desktop and laptop PCs.

  1. Operating System, Processor, Memory and Drives

    • The Acer Aspire 6930G ran on the Microsoft Vista operating system and had an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Installed RAM (random access memory) was usually 2 GB, although users had the option to upgrade it to the maximum capacity of 4GB. Also included was a 2.5-inch 320-GB hard drive and an optical drive that could play CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs.

For its computer networking capabilities, the Aspire 6930G had a ITU v.92 56k modem, Ethernet 10/100/1000 network interface, and 802.11b/g and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.

    Physical Characteristics

    • The Acer Aspire 6930G weighed no more than 8 lbs and measured around 15.71 inches x 11.49 inches x 1.61/1.73 inches in width, depth and height, respectively. Its ports and slots included a 5-in-1 media adapter for digital media formats such as Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard and xD-Picture Card; an ExpressCard slot; USB 2.0 and HDMI ports; RJ-11, RJ-45 and VGA connectors; and microphone and headphone jacks.
