Wyoming GED Verification

Wyoming uses GED123.org for GED verification.

More than 1,800 Wyoming residents take the GED exam each year, according to the Wyoming Community College Commission. The American Council on Education (ACE) owns and administers the GED exam, in which candidates must pass five tests. Wyoming provides specific methods through which GED recipients, employers and school officials obtain verification.

  1. The GED Credential

    • Wyoming candidates who pass the GED exam receive an official transcript and a certificate in the mail, both of which verify that the recipient has passed the exam.

    GED123.org

    • GED123.org, a website operated by ACE, provides Wyoming GED candidates with a student access code to enter the site, where they may then print duplicate transcripts and view their test scores. They may also provide their access codes to potential employers for verification. School officials, however, receive their transcript verification codes from ACE.

    Duplicate Transcripts

    • The Wyoming Community College Commission provides duplicate transcripts upon request from GED certificate recipients. The commission provides a certificate or transcript request form on its website, through which users can request the transcript or request that the commission mail it to a school or employer.
