The Specifications of a Dell Latitude C600 Pentium III 1000 MHZ
The Dell Latitude C600, released in 2001, was designed as a corporate laptop, according to PC Mag. The laptop could be purchased for $2,925 at that time. As with many pre-built computers, the specifications were customizable.

The C600 came with two display options. Both TFT screens were 14.1 inches, but they varied depending on the screen resolution. The extended graphics array (XGA) screen featured a resolution of 1024 x 728. The super video graphics array (SXGA+) featured 1400 x 1050.
Modular Bay

The modular bay was a prominent feature of the laptop. A CD-ROM drive was not built in, but one was included to be used with the modular bay. This bay could also be used a second battery or a zip drive.
Memory

The C600 started with 64 MB synchronous dynamic random-access memory, or SDRAM. It was possible to increase to a maximum of 512 MB. Most laptops ran in the 128 MB or 256 MB area.
Battery

An 8-cell lithium ion battery came stock. In addition, a four-cell battery could be purchased for use as a secondary battery in the modular bay.
Video and Audio

A hardware accelerated 8 MB of video memory was available for display purposes. The C600 also featured two audio jacks, an intergated microphone and two built in speakers. The audio controller was a ESS Maestro 3i.
Hard Drive

The C600 had a 20 GB hard drive installed.
