Microsoft is constantly coming up with new products, with Windows 7 being their latest operating system. Windows 7 smoothed out the issues that Windows Vista caused. Windows 7 was developed based on customer feedback.

Windows 7 introduces three new features: "Windows Touch", "Play To", and "Remote Media Streaming". Windows Touch allows you to use a touchscreen to navigate instead of a mouse. "Play To" allows you to play audio and video files on other computers, stereos, and TVs connected to your home network. Remote Media Streaming allows you to access your Windows Media Player library over the Internet.

Windows 7 has six editions: the Starter Edition, the Home Basic Edition, the Home Premium Edition, the Professional Edition, the Enterprise Edition, and the Ultimate Edition. All editions are available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

Windows 7 32-bit editions requires a computer with at least a 1 GHz (gigahertz) processor, 1 GB (gigabytes) of memory, and 16 GB of hard drive space. Windows 7 64-bit editions require at least one GHz , two gigabytes of memory, and 20 gigabytes of hard drive space. All editions require DirectX 9; an Internet connection is recommended for updates.
