Kindle Changing Book Information

Kindle is the new electronic reading device from Amazon. You can sell your eBook on Amazon by opening a Kindle account. Just edit your book information from your Bookshelf page, so readers will have a description of your book.

  1. Your Kindle Account

    • Sign in to Amazon's Digital Text Platform to open your Kindle account. You can list your eBook, which will appear on your Bookshelf. To change your eBook information, choose the "Bookshelf" tab, and at the right, under the "Actions" tab, select "Edit Book Details."

    Book Details

    • Write a description of your eBook, so that Kindle readers will know what your book is about. You can also specify the rights as public domain for an older title, or you can enable your own digital rights management for a new title. You can also change the price for your eBook here to make it competitive, with a 20-percent discount from the lowest paperback price.

    Publish Your Kindle Book

    • Finally you can upload your eBook, after having made any editing changes on an HTML Editor. You can preview your eBook to make certain it is adjusted to the Kindle format. Now you are ready to publish your Kindle book, and choose your royalties. You can select 70-percent royalties if the book is in your name, and 35 percent if the book is in the public domain.
