Mice and rats can be controlled in multiple ways.

Mice and rats are common household pests that can be found almost anywhere in America. While they are small and may appear harmless, mice and rats should be controlled, as they spread disease and consume any food that they find.

Prevention

Both mice and rats can fit through very small holes, so all openings in the walls should be patched to avoid entrance from rodent pests. Doors should also be kept closed as often as possible to make sure mice and rats cannot get inside.

Products

There are multiple products on the market that help to get rid of and neutralize mice and rats. Rodent repellents cause rats and mice to leave the area, while baits serve to lead them to traps that either enclose or kill the rodents.

Keep Clean

A clean environment is vital when trying to control rats and mice. Never let food or garbage accumulate inside or outside, as rodents will be drawn to it while searching for food.
