Specifications for the Cessna 310 Model
As of 2010, Cessna's twin-engine 310 model has been out of production for three decades. The Cessna website does not carry information about it, so information on its specifications is found now only on the websites of professional organizations and hobby clubs and, of course, in the original owner's manual.

There were three main variants of the Cessna 310: the 310B, T310P, and 310R, whose dimensions also varied somewhat. The 310B's wingspan is 35 feet 9 inches; the airplane is 27 feet long and its height is 10 feet 6 inches. The T310P and 310R both have a wingspan of 36 feet 11 inches. The T310P's length is 29 feet 3 inches and its height is 9 feet 11 inches. The 310R is slightly bigger, with a length of 32 feet and height of 10 feet 8 inches.

The empty weights of the 310B, T310P, and 310R models are 3,166, 3,292 and 3,260 pounds, respectively. The maximum takeoff weights are, respectively, 4,830, 5,400 and 5,500 pounds. Depending on configuration, they can hold five or six seats.

The maximum speed of the three models ranges from 207 to 237 knots. Cruising speed ranges from 157 knots (310B) to 226 knots (T310P). Initial rate of climb is between 1,660 and 1,860 feet per minute. The service ceiling, the highest altitude at which an airplane can maintain a rate of climb of 500 feet per minute, is about 19,800 feet for the 310B and 310R. The T310P can still climb comfortably as high as 28,600 feet.
