Microsoft Office provides effective tools for teachers. Programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and OneNote help teachers increase productivity and create appealing lessons and activities to engage students and promote class participation.

PowerPoint

Enhance instruction with a PowerPoint presentation. Use a vivid template, slide transitions and graphics to make instruction more engaging. Insert a video for added interest.

Excel

Use Microsoft Excel to keep track of student grades. Create a PivotTable to analyze patterns and trends in student data.

Word

Grading student reports and papers is simpler with Microsoft Word's Track Changes function. Word indicates where students have edited their first draft, so there is no need to reread the entire paper.
