    • The ginger plant requires fertile soil and a climate with a lot of rain. The ideal climate for ginger plants is tropical. Recently, the ginger plant has been cultivated by people in tropical areas all over the world, particularly in Africa and Jamaica.

    Light

    • The ginger plant does not need a lot of light to thrive. It only needs occasional sunlight. It grows well in the shade and in rain.
