    • Wheat is an annual grass that produces hollow rachis. The leaves of the wheat grass grow erect and are flat in shape. Wheat grass grows well in cool, winter climates.

    Wheat Uses

    • Wheat is grown for the grain it provides. The grain is then used to make breads, alcohol, flour, and livestock feed. The straw produced by wheat grass is also used to create carpets, baskets, paper, and cattle bedding.
