On average, a person with a Bachelor's degree makes $14,000 more than a person with an Associate's degree. With a background in liberal arts and science, you can go into any major for a Bachelor's degree. Liberal arts and science degrees often help people decide what they enjoy the most, which can make choosing a major for a Bachelor's degree program much easier. From there, you can always go on to get a Master's degree, professional degree or medical degree.

If you don't want to go on to medical school, there are still careers in the medical field that accept Associate's of liberal arts and science degrees.
