HVAC training is offered at two of North Carolina's community colleges in Charlotte. Gaston Community College is a small, rural college outside of Charlotte in the town of Dallas. Central Piedmont Community College is a larger college with six locations in and around Charlotte.

    • Successful completion of a HVAC training program qualifies the candidate for immediate work in the small commercial or residential areas.

    Program Description

    • Both colleges offer certification and diploma programs in air conditioning, heating and refrigeration. However, Central Piedmont is the only school with an Associate of Applied Science program.
