HVAC training is offered at two of North Carolina's community colleges in Charlotte. Gaston Community College is a small, rural college outside of Charlotte in the town of Dallas. Central Piedmont Community College is a larger college with six locations in and around Charlotte.

Significance

Successful completion of a HVAC training program qualifies the candidate for immediate work in the small commercial or residential areas.

Program Description

Both colleges offer certification and diploma programs in air conditioning, heating and refrigeration. However, Central Piedmont is the only school with an Associate of Applied Science program.
