Glitter Burnish Technique
Burnishing glitter is an easy craft technique that almost anyone can accomplish in a short amount of time. This technique can be used to spruce up pre-printed cards or to create original designs.

The burnished glitter technique is accomplished by pressing and rubbing glitter into tape to release the sheen of the glitter. When finished, this technique gives a brushed velvet feel and look to the project. Burnishing the glitter also keeps the glitter firmly embedded into the project, which keeps it from falling off.
Supplies

Glitter burnish can be accomplished with a minimal amount of supplies such as ultra-fine glitter, card stock, scissors and double-sided tape. Card stock can be purchased blank to apply an original design or with a pre-printed image to burnish with glitter.
