Define California King Mattress
The California king mattress was developed by David Bergeson of California in 1982. Unable to find complete comfort in a king-sized bed because of his height, Bergeson decided that a design for a longer bed seemed the only option. Today, this model is popular with taller individuals. Does this Spark an idea?

Fitted Sheets for the California King
-
Since the California king mattress is not a nationally known mattress, it can be difficult to find sheets that correspond with its measurements. King sheet sets can be used on a California king without much difficulty. It is possible to find retailers who carry the California King sheet set, but the price is a little higher than the traditional king and queen sheet sets.
Price Comparison
-
The California king mattress and beds cost about the same as the regular king model. Because they cannot be located easily on the East Coast, shipping will be your main concern.
