What Are the Benefits of Fraxel?
Fraxel is a set of three skin care treatments that utilize microscopic lasers to repair skin damage caused by aging, surgery, the sun, medical conditions, and acne. The Faxel microscopic column treatments create minuscule wounds beneath the epidermis. These wounds trigger the body to naturally respond to heal the damage, which leads to the release of certain proteins, such as collagen. The release of these proteins make the skin look younger and repairs many blemishes and scars. Does this Spark an idea?

Re:fine - Prevention and Maintenance
-
The most gentle of the three Fraxel treatments--Re:fine--aids in the prevention and maintenance of the skin. This treatment is used for such conditions as fine lines around the eyes, age spots, and uneven pigmentation. Patients can typically return to normal activities the same day.
Re:store - Mild to Severe Damage
-
Acne or surgical scars, wrinkles, and other skin conditions may require substantially more treatment. This is where the Re:store treatments come into play. Downtime for this degree of treatment is typically one or two days.
-
Re:pair - Severe Damage
-
The most serious skin damage requires serious repair. The Fraxel Re:pair treatments are for skin conditions that might otherwise require a face lift to correct. Patients requiring this level of treatment can expect a week of recovery time before returning to normal activity.
Downtime
-
Many skin conditions can be repaired in just one treatment and the downtime for even the most severe conditions is minimal compared to other repair options.
After Treatment Care
-
Since the microscopic lasers make such small wounds in the skin and the body naturally reacts to heal those wounds so quickly, there is very little, if any, after treatment care needed.
