    Fishing

    • Fish is a source of nutrients and can be caught using pieces of brightly colored fabric on the ends of safety pins. Shiny pieces of metal such as button or snap can also attract fish.

    Small Animals

    Fruits

    • Dried bananas, apples, plums and dates can be a good part of survival foods as they provide sweetness, carbohydrates and fiber. Keep all fruits in tightly sealed plastic bags to avoid bug infestations.
