Microsoft Network Certification
Obtaining a Microsoft certification allows you to demonstrate your proficiency in networking and running an exchange server. Certification testing is a series of steps and experience, because some tests Microsoft offers are appropriate for beginners, while others are available to advanced personnel.

Paths of study
-
There is more than one way to become a network administrator. Microsoft offers a variety of study paths suitable for various areas of interest and experience.
MCSE/MCSA
-
MCSE/MCSA used to be the most common route, but that hinged on mastery of Windows Server 2003. Users in that track of study can continue the certification process, but new users are encouraged to pursue MCITP certification instead.

MCITP
-
MCITP, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional, is a certification that can be applied to multiple technologies, such as SQL server or Enterprise Messaging. Most candidates who want to be network administrators choose to study Server Administrator or Enterprise Messaging Administrator.
Prerequisites
-
Candidates should have at least two years field experience and MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) certification in the area where they want to pursue MCITP certification. MCTS certification involves a series of exams on a particular Microsoft technology.
