What Is the Difference Between a Digital & a Regular Camera?
The main difference between a digital camera and a regular camera is the medium used to capture the image. Regular cameras use film, usually 35mm. Digital cameras save the image on an image sensor built into the camera.

Digital camera technology is constantly evolving, meaning that digital equipment becomes obsolete much faster than film equipment. Less expensive digital cameras are slower to take photographs than film cameras, since they must save each picture to the disk. Even the best digital cameras cannot match the resolution of the best film.
