Airbrush Effect in Photoshop
Photoshop is equipped with many tools for both drawing and painting. The airbrush tool is a painting tool that simulates the effects of an airbrush. This allows the user to digitally recreate airbrush effects for use in print and on the Internet.

The Airbrush Tool

The airbrush tool is found among the brush tools in the tools palette. The airbrush tool is located in the options toolbar. Left-click the airbrush icon to use the airbrush tool and begin creating effects.
Opacity

In conjunction with the airbrush tool icon is an opacity slider. Left-click, hold and drag this slider to adjust the opacity of the color produced by the airbrush tool.

Flow

There is also a flow slider. Left-click, hold and drag this slider to adjust the amount of color coming from your airbrush tool.
Using the Mouse With the Airbrush Tool

According to the opacity and flow settings you have specified, the color will flow at the set rate when you hold down the left mouse button.
Painting

To paint with the airbrush tool, left-click to "spray" paint on your work area. Holding down the mouse button will distribute more color. You can layer the color by adjusting the opacity setting.
