Is There Such Thing As Real Magic?
According to Nature Reviews Neuroscience, "magic is one of the oldest and most widespread forms of performance art." Stage performance however, is an illusion. Metaphysical magic is an entirely different matter.

The French Scholar, Christian Jacq, wrote that "spirit and matter are woven out of the same substance." To work magic, he continues, a person must "identify the thread, which links everything and unites all creatures in a chain of cosmic union."

According to the Esoteric School of Shamanism and Magic, understanding that the four elements, which include air, fire, water and earth, also operate at the levels of mind and spirit, is basic to magical practice.

In an excerpt from his book entitled, "Magick and Ecstasy in the PandaemonAeon, Attractor" Dave Lee promotes the belief that a relationship exists between the scientific study of quantum physics and the practice of magic.
Considerations

Magic is not something that can readily be proven to exist or not exist. For those who practice it, such as Wren Walker of the website "Witchvox," it is an absolute certainty.
