What Are Some High Protein Snacks?
Healthful can be fun. Try some of these delicious, convenient snacks that are high in protein.

Meat snacks

Smoked beef jerky Dried beef jerky is almost pure protein. Pork rinds are also high in protein, though also high in fat. (Avoid both if you have high blood pressure due to sodium content.)
Vegetarian snacks

Eggs Hardboiled eggs are high in protein, but eat yolks in moderation due to high saturated fat. Reduced-fat, low-fat, and fat-free dairy products like cheese, yogurt, and even milk can be used as high-protein snacks, but watch for added sugars.

Edamame Peanuts, almonds, walnuts, and other nuts are high in protein, and can be eaten plain or in trail mix. Soy is of the few plant foods that contain complete protein; snackable types of soy include soy nuts, edamame, and soy chips.
