Dora birthday party invitations can be made easily. Fold a piece of purple card stock in half and cut it into the shape of Dora's backpack. Party invitations can be included on the inside of the backpack. To seal the invitation, use a Dora sticker.

Use Dora balloons, streamers and banners to decorate a Dora party. Pictures of Dora's friend Boots can be printed out from nickjr.com and used as a party decoration as well.

A Dora birthday party activity that can be played is called "Pin the Tail on Swiper." To play this, tape a picture of Swiper to a wall. Blindfold children and give them Swiper's tail. They will then try to attach the tail to the appropriate location on Swiper's body.

For favors, give out backpacks similar to Dora's that contain Dora stickers, binoculars, coloring books and crayons. Make Dora bracelets: Thread yellow pony beads and blue flower beads onto a piece of elastic and tie the ends together at the desired length.

Make a birthday cake in the shape of Dora's head using a round cake. Mix chocolate and vanilla frosting (skin coloring) and frost it on the cake. Then add brown frosting around the outside to make it look like hair. Vanilla wafers along with round chocolate pieces can be used for eyes, frosting can be used for the nose and a piece of fruit roll-up for the mouth.
