Mitsubishi SUVs
Mitsubishi Motors North America sells two models of automobile that are classified as sport utility vehicles (SUVs). They are the Outlander and the Endeavor. The 2010 model of the Outlander is a fresh redesign. Both the Outlander and the Endeavor are marketed as "crossover" SUVs, combining the styling and handling of a car with the utility and interior of a truck.

Both of these vehicles' base models include as standard equipment such featuers as air conditioning, power window and door locks, remote keyless entry, driver and passenger side air bags and front and rear side-curtain air bags, and CD player. Some upgrades available on these models are heated leather seats, built-in navigation, rear backup camera, sunroof, and satellite radio.

The Outlander is available in three trim levels: the ES, the SE, and the XLS. The Endeavor has two trim models available: the LS and the SE. Each of these models comes with a V-6 engine and either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Seating

The Outlander can seat up to seven people in the SE and XLS models, while the Outlander ES and the Endeavor have seating for five.
Engine

The engine options in the Outlander are a 2.4-liter four-cylinder or a 3.0-liter V6, with a horsepower of 168 in the 2.4-liter-powered ES or SE and 230 horsepower in the 3.0-liter-powered XLS model. The Endeavor comes with a 3.8-liter V6 engine that generates 225 horsepower.
Mileage

The Outlander ES and SE get 21 miles per gallon around town and 27 miles per gallon on the freeway, according to EPA estimates. The XLS model gets 19 miles per gallon around town and 25 miles per gallon on the freeway. The Endeavor gets 15 mpg in town and 21 on the highway, EPA says.
Safety

Both the Outlander and the Endeavor come standard with driver and front passenger side air bags and front and rear side-curtain air bags, ABS antilock brakes, and active stability control.
