Cabinets give a kitchen a certain look and feel. Depending on the style or design, the kitchen can look dull, homey or modern. There are many different types and styles of cabinets.

Custom Cabinetry

Custom cabinets represent the most expensive type of cabinet. The are built to fit the kitchen in any way the owner desires.

Modular Cabinetry

Modular cabinets don't cost as much as custom cabinetry. They come pre-assembled and able to install immediately in the home but don't offer much imagination in design.

Shaker Style

The Shaker cabinet represents one of the simplest designs. Made from wood, you never typically see any hardware or trim on this style.

Colonial Style

These cabinets have wooden, raised panel doors and usually heavy iron hardware.

Contemporary Style

These cabinets have straight, sleek lines and often come in dark or vibrant colors. They can be made of anything from glass to metal alloys.
