Biotherm Is Suitable for Which Type of Skin?
Biotherm products are specially formulated for most skin types. Select correct products for your skin type by carefully examining labels or speaking with a skin care representative. Does this Spark an idea?

Understanding Skin Types
-
Common skin types include oily, dry, combination, normal and sensitive. Oily skin, marked by excessive oil secretions and enlarged pores, is more common in teens and young adults but crosses age barriers. More common in older skin, dryness is characterized by small pores and a lack of oil. Combination skin shows oil in the T-zone areas (forehead, nose and chin). Characterized by average-sized pores, normal skin does not dry out easily, rarely chaps or flakes, and is free of shininess. Sensitive skin breaks out easily and requires special care.
Dehydration
-
Dehydrated skin lacks moisture while dry skin lacks oil. Exposure to sun and harsh climate conditions contribute to dehydration. Inadequate water consumption and long, hot showers are additional factors. Surface wrinkling and a lack of plumpness can indicate thirsty skin. Dry skin is inherent but dehydrated skin is triggered by outside conditions.

Aging Skin
-
Aging skin is another category. Typical signs of aging include increased dryness, surface lines, deeper wrinkles, age spots, dullness, lack of elasticity, and thinning.

Treatments for aging skin also exist in the Biotherm line. Aquasource is Biotherm's solution for dehydrated skin. This gel-textured cream is rich in mineral water and quenches the skin's thirst.
