Laser hair removal involves the use of an intense, pulsing light beam and heat which passes through skin and burns only the hair follicle, debilitating the hair growth process at its root. The effects are usually long term with the goal of permanent follicle retardation. Laser hair treatment isn't for everyone though. It only works on those with dark hair and light skin.
