What Is Flash 8?
Flash 8 is an application developed by "Macromedia" that is used to create graphics, animations and media that can have some interactivity and rich Web interfacing. It is used to create presentations for TV, PDAs, the web and mobile phones.

This is the where you create and view all the design work. It is the main working page where you can position your objects, sounds and other information that will be contained in the animation.
The Timeline

This is a grid that displays each frame of the flash movie and what it contains. The timeline allows you to work with elements as they play from left to right.
