Virtual schooling is the wave of the future. Previously, only some degree programs offered online education; colleges soon jumped on the bandwagon and now even elementary and high schools offer virtual classrooms.

I find fault with this statement, "As in a traditional school, teachers of higher grade levels usually receive a larger salary." This is not true for traditional K-12 public schools in Michigan. Subject or grade level have no bearing on salary.
