Marshall Farms has been raising ferrets since 1939. It began as a hobby and developed into a business as the demand for ferrets in the pet trade increased.
Types

Marshall breeds ferrets in a variety of colors and coat patterns including panda, chocolate, silver mitt, sterling, Siamese and sable.

Marshall baby ferrets are shipped to pet stores when they reach seven weeks of age.
Veterinary Care

According to Marshall, each ferret is neutered, vaccinated against canine distemper and has its scent glands removed before it is shipped to an authorized merchant.

In addition to the sale of ferrets, in 1993 Marshall began a pet product line that offers grooming supplies, toys, habitats, harnesses, carrying bags and many other products, available at many retail outlets where ferrets are sold.
