Many pet store chains offer Marshall Farms' pet ferrets. Marshall sells a variety of baby ferrets as well as having created a product line designed to meet the needs of pet ferrets.

  1. Marshall Farms

    • Marshall Farms has been raising ferrets since 1939. It began as a hobby and developed into a business as the demand for ferrets in the pet trade increased.

    Types

    • Marshall breeds ferrets in a variety of colors and coat patterns including panda, chocolate, silver mitt, sterling, Siamese and sable.

    Age

    • Marshall baby ferrets are shipped to pet stores when they reach seven weeks of age.

    Veterinary Care

    • According to Marshall, each ferret is neutered, vaccinated against canine distemper and has its scent glands removed before it is shipped to an authorized merchant.

    Pet Products

    • In addition to the sale of ferrets, in 1993 Marshall began a pet product line that offers grooming supplies, toys, habitats, harnesses, carrying bags and many other products, available at many retail outlets where ferrets are sold.
