Soap for Hyperpigmentation

For people who spend a lot of time in the sun or suffer from acne, hyper-pigmentation can be a problem. Hyper-pigmentation causes brown spots on the face, hands and other parts of the body. The only way to prevent dark spots is to limit your exposure to the things that cause them. If you are unable to limit your exposure to the things that cause hyper-pigmentation some soaps may help to lighten the damaged areas. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Aloe Vera

    • Aloe vera has been shown to help lighten the dark spots caused by hyper-pigmentation. Using soap that has aloe vera in it can help lighten dark spots as you bathe.

    Coco Butter

    • Using soaps with coco butter will help lighten dark spots as well as moisturize your skin.

    Vitamin E

    • You can use soaps containing vitamin E to lighten the effects of hyper-pigmentation. Vitamin E can help dark spots.

    Exfoliation

    • Use a soap that has exfoliating properties. Exfoliating helps to remove the dead skin at the surface making it easier for coco butter, aloe vera and Vitamin E to lighten the dark spots.

    Prevention/Solution

    • If skin irritation occurs, stop using the soap and seek medical attention.
