Job Description of a US Bankruptcy Court Case Administrator
A United States Bankruptcy Court case administrator is an employee of the government who processes all information regarding cases of personal and corporate bankruptcy, including the creation of records of court proceeding and maintenance of files.

Primary Duties

The primary function of the role of case administrator is to create and maintain all documents as they relates to cases tried in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, following pre-specified policies and procedures surrounding the handling of those documents.
Ad Hoc Duties

In addition to the primary duties of the role, U.S. Bankruptcy Court case administrators are also required to perform various administrative tasks such as copying, filing and mail handling as requested.

Educational and Professional Experience

A college degree is not required to become a case administrator. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court does, however, mandate that candidates for the role possess related professional experience.
Qualitative Requirements

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court stipulates prospective court administrators must be extremely detail-oriented with the ability to work autonomously. Additionally, strong computer, interpersonal and communication skills are imperative.
