Globe Life began selling accident and health policies to Oklahoma farmers in 1951. Over the years, the company expanded by adding other lines of insurance but is still based in Oklahoma City as of 2010.

Products offered by Globe Life include life insurance for adults and children, accidental death insurance and mortgage protection plans. A Medicare supplement policy is also available to senior citizens.

Life Product Features

The Young American Plan for children is a whole life product with face amounts up to $25,000. For adults, term and whole life policies are available in face amounts up to $50,000.
Accidentla Death Policy Features

The accidental death policy is offered to people between the ages of 18 and 69 in amounts up to $250,000. No medical exam is required to obtain the insurance.
Medicare Supplement Policy Features

Tthe Medicare Supplement plan helps to cover expenses that are not covered by Medicare Parts A and B, including deductibles, copayments or physician costs. Acceptance into the plan is guaranteed when enrolling during the six-month period when turning age 65.
