I HATE our wood burning stove! I had no idea it would be so messy, dirty, stinky, and just AWFUL! You can clean the glass doors and then start a new fire and it's pretty for maybe half an hour and then the doors get all sooty and ugly again. To me, it is NOT worth it to have independent heat. Not worth it at all. Did I mention I HATE it?
