What Are the Fraxel Treatments for Loose Skin?

  1. Treatment Procedure

    • Application of a topical numbing agent to the cleansed skin of the treatment area occurs an hour before the procedure. During the procedure, the patient may feel heat, discomfort or pain. These symptoms cease as soon as the laser is turned off.

    • A full face treatment typically takes 30 to 40 minutes. Patients may return to their regular activities within 5 to 7 days.

    Side Effects

    • Mild bleeding and oozing can occur for up to 48 hours after treatment. Swelling may occur for the first week and redness may linger up to a month. Mild side effects include itching, flaking or peeling skin.

    Aftercare
