What Does "NFL Street Attributes" Mean?

NFL Street attributes are categories in which a player's ability is determined in the popular video game, NFL Street. There are ten attributes in all. A player may attain a score between 1 and 20 for each attribute.

  1. Physical Skills

    • A running back or wide receiver needs high scores in both Speed and Agility to break big plays consistently. To attain a high Speed score, a player must be faster than the opposition. To attain a high Agility score, a player must excel at jumping and at evasive moves such as jukes and spins.

    Smash-Mouth Football

    • Blocking and Run Power attributes help your running game in NFL Street. Blocking is crucial for linemen on offense, as well as for running backs and receivers who block downfield for the ball carrier. Run Power allows a ball carrier to break through tackles for extra yardage.

    Aerial Attack

    • Passing dictates the speed and accuracy of a quarterback's passes, while Catching is the ability to catch both forward and lateral passes. Carrying is the ability to hold onto catches after a hit and to not fumble upon tackling--crucial for offensive players to avoid turnovers.

    Defense

    • Tackling, Coverage, and D-Moves are all important NFL Street attributes for defenders. Coverage helps cover receivers and pass catchers, D-Moves help evade blockers.

    Development

    • A Training Camp feature in the video game allows you to improve a player's attributes through drills.
