There is an additional feature that allows you to adjust temperature setting from your phone. Goodman heat pumps don't have this feature.

Quiet

Trane heat pumps have multi-stage fan motors, which allow you to adjust speed quietly. Goodman has what the company refers to as louvered sound control tops, which dampen operation noise.

Warranty

Trane claims all components of their heat pumps are tested repeatedly to ensure long-lasting performance and durability. Goodman doesn't make the same claim; however, they offer a lifetime limited warranty.

Cost

Trane heat pumps can cost from $2,700 to $3,300, while Goodman heat pumps will run you $1400 to $3,200. These prices do not include the cost of installation.
