Lactobacillus is a microaerophilic bacteria found in the human body, in the small intestine and the vagina.   1. Penicillin

    Gentamicin

    Vancomycin

    • Vancomycin is an antibiotic for treating a lactobacillus infection. However, the body may resist the treatment, which will not help treat the infection. Vancomycin is used to fight the various sites of the infection.

    Clindamycin

    • Clindamycin is appropriate for treating a lactobacillus infection that is odontogenic. For this type of infection, it is also important to drain and extract the infected area.

    Ampicillin

    • Ampicillin is a type of penicillin used to fight bacterial infections. This medication stops the bacteria from spreading and forming on the various walls of the body.
