Write a succinct objective that occupies no more than two lines of your typed resume. A popular format is "OBJECTIVE: To _____ " followed by your specific professional goals.

Describe the type of position you seek, highlighting one or two of the qualities that make you an outstanding candidate for the job. For example, if your objective is to obtain an entry-level editorial position at a magazine, you might highlight your passion for writing, as well as your experience as editor of your college newspaper.
