Can You Put a Disc in a Mac Laptop?
Apple Macintosh laptops have a multitude of connectivity ports. Most of them also include slot-loading CD/DVD drives, but no computer in the Macintosh family has a floppy disk drive. This is mostly due to the fact that floppy disks can't hold a large capacity of data, while other alternative forms of media can.

Apple phased out floppy disk drives in its Macintosh lineup starting in 1998 with the introduction of the iMac G3. Since then, no Macintosh has come with a floppy drive. You can't put a floppy disk into a Macintosh of any kind made after 1998.
