Description of Casual Summer Wedding Attire
Dressing for a summer wedding can be challenging. If the wedding is outside, you must be able to find something that can accommodate summer temperatures but still look slightly formal. Men's casual wedding clothing does not require a jacket. Wear a light-colored button-down shirt made of breathable material, such as cotton, or a solid colored polo shirt. If you are uncertain about the formality of the event, bring a matching blazer, and leave it in the car.
Men's Pants

Choosing shoes can be tricky for a summer wedding. Avoid wearing flip-flops or overly casual sandals, unless the invitation specifically states that the event is "beach casual" or extremely casual. Dressier sandals are acceptable; however, women should be careful when wearing heels to an outdoor wedding because they may sink in the grass.
