Uses for Dried Lavender

Varieties of lavender will grow in most climates. Dried lavender products can be purchased, but are easy to make from you garden.Dried lavender is easy to store. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Drying Lavender

    Cooking with Lavender

      The leaves can be removed from the stalk after drying and stored in an air tight container. The flavor of lavender will vary by variety.

    Infusions

      Choose your favorite body/bath oil and place a dried stem of lavender in the bottle. Lavender scented oil is ready to use after two to three weeks.

    Aromatherapy

    • Dried lavender can be placed in a mesh sachet for use in the dryer, or stored in closets, dressers or drawers.
