Crotons produce bright, tropical foliage with stiff leaves that point upwards; occasionally, they will produce colorful star-shaped flowers.

There are over 750 species of Croton that are organized into varieties including the Broad Leaf Croton, Oak Leaf Croton, Spiral Leaf Croton, Small leaf Croton, and Interrupted Leaf Croton.

Care

Crotons require a hot, humid atmosphere, moderate sunlight, and frequent watering in order to thrive. Leaves will slope downward if under-watered.

Croton plants are originated in Malaysia; there, they can grow up to twenty feet tall.
