The Coro brand name was formed by taking the first two letters of the founders last names--Cohen and Rosenberger--to form the brand name "Coro."

Distinguishing Marks

The earliest pieces of Coro jewelry carried a "CR" marking. This mark was used until 1919, when it was replaced by the "Coro" mark. Later designs bear the signatures "Coro Craft," "Sterling Craft Coro," "CoroCraft Sterling," "Coro Sterling," "CoroCraft," and a Pegasus mark for the latest pieces.
