Importance of a Good Classmate

Pursuing higher education can be quite stressful, and being placed in a class wilth annoying or rude students will only compound this problem. When you are in a group with good classmates, however, the benefits can be enormous.

School supplies

You should always be prepared when heading to class, but there are days when you're bound to forget a pencil or a notebook. If you borrow a forgotten item from a classmate, you won't have single yourself out and ask the professor.

Help with assignments

If you're having trouble understanding a particular assignment, classmates can be quite helpful. Having an assignment explained to you by a fellow student instead of your professor might be all it takes to clue you in.

Missed homework

Some professors are reluctant to fill you in on projects and homework if you've missed class. Having a classmate who will let you review their work can save you a lot of frustration in a situation like this.

Carpooling

If you happen to have a classmate who lives nearby, you might be able to carpool to and from class. Not only will this save you both some gas, but it will help the environment as well.

Productivity

Students who are happy with their surroundings and fellow classmates are typically much more productive than those who are not.
