Can You Download Games Onto Your iPod Nano?
The iPod Nano allows users to download games, some of which are free. You'll need a computer with an Internet connection and an iPod USB cable.

Compatibility

Before you download a game, make sure it's compatible with all Nano models. The first-generation Nano may not play all new games.
Apple store

The Apple Store in iTunes usually charges a few dollars for their games, but you'll find they have the finest quality programs.

Other sites host free downloadable Nano games, but their quality is never guaranteed. Check out the iPod Arcade link (See Reference 1 below) for a list of free games.
Download process

First, download a game onto your computer. Only then will you be able to plug your Nano in and transfer it to the device. The easiest way to do this by using iTunes for iPod syncing and buying games from its store.

Once you've transferred your game onto the Nano, safely eject it from your computer and find "Extras" on the title screen. Scroll down and select "Games." You'll see the game you just downloaded.
