Whether it's for necessity or for a hobby, sewing is one of those things done in nearly every home. To make sure you are up for the task, outfit your sewing box with the proper and most basic tools for the job.

    Measuring Tools

  6. Threads

  7. Keep a supply of threads in a range of colors---from light to dark---and a variety of weights.
  8. Pin Cushion or Magnetic Pin Holder

  9. A pin cushion or magnetic pin holder is essential to safely and neatly store pins.
