Food Ideas for a Disney Princess Theme Party
Your Disney princess party can be themed around a single princess such as Cinderella or Ariel, or selected foods and favors can represent different princess-theme party favors. Either way, make sure your menu is princess worthy by including the following royal treats. Does this Spark an idea?
-
Cupcakes
-
You can easily customize your frosting using a few drops of food coloring. No party is complete without a cake, and cupcakes are the perfect size for little hands. Let the guest of honor choose the cake flavor, and use food coloring to tint the frosting to match the dress worn by her favorite Disney princess.
Princess Punch
-
Make "princess punch" by filling a punch bowl with a mixture of 1 gallon prepared pink lemonade and a 2-liter bottle of ginger ale. Serve in Disney princess-theme cups, and add a striped candy stick as an accent.
-
Candy Apples
-
Snow White has nothing to fear from these pretty apples! Dress up like the wicked queen from Snow White, and offer your little princesses a rich red candy apple or apple slices with pink strawberry yogurt for dipping.
Tea Sandwiches
-
Feed your little princesses their choice of miniature tea sandwiches. Add their favorite fillings between two slices of bread, and then cut into fun shapes using cookie cutters. Use simple shapes, or, for a special touch, use crown- or diamond-shaped cookie cutters.
Fairy Godmother Magic Wands
-
No "bibbity bobbity boo" is needed to create these fast and easy magic wands. Dip pretzel rods in melted white chocolate and roll in crushed candies or pink sugar to make fun, edible wands for your guests.
