Enagic is a network marketing company that sells expensive ionized, or alkaline, water machines. Rivals have criticized it for misleading practices and overpriced products. Additionally, alkaline water may not have any true health benefits.

Enagic's main products are water ionizers that filter water into its acid and alkaline components. Kangen is a brand name for alkaline water. Enagic's main trademarks/brands are Kangen Water, Enagic and Leveluk. Kangen means "renewal."
Criticism

Competitors claim that by associating Kangen Water with regular ionized, or alkaline, water, the company not only misleads consumers into thinking that Kangen is better, it makes it harder for people to know what the generic product name is.

Enagic agents use terms like "revolutionary water technology" to describe a process that can be achieved by other, less expensive, water ionizers. Misinformation abounds as the only parties involved in providing information are those involved in selling water ionizers.
